October 2024: Anja achieves a milestone ! Our first bred GRAND CHAMPION.
September 2024: Perth Royal Show - Arvid awarded Best of Breed and State Bred in Group under Mr Javinder Sungh (India), his sister Anja awarded RUBOB, BCC and Aus Bred in Group.
August 2024: Beatris awarded another State Bred in Show
August 2024: Beatris was Jayde's 'pick dog' for the Junior Handlers State Final - what a lovely partnership - they worked well together.
July 2024: Björn awarded BOB and Best in Group at Canine Stewards Show, Perth.
July 2024: Beatris awarded 'State Bred in Show'.
2023
October 2023: Annika awarded the last points that she needed to earn her title 'Grand Champion'.
September 2023: Annika awarded Best of Breed at Perth Royal Show.
September 2023: Björn and Annika's DNA test for DAMS (a hereditary syndrome only recently identified in the ESS breed) has finally come back. Both dogs are CLEAR which is good news, and also means that their offspring are clear by parentage.
August 2023: David steered Björn to a very nice BEST IN GROUP at the Bunbury & District Show under judge Mrs Ellie Coombes (Vic).
August 2023: Björn was Emily's 'pick' dog for the Junior Handlers State Finals - they looked really good together, Emily has been working well with him to build a rapport and put him through the routine - it paid off nicely with Emily placed third in her class in a strong line up.
July 2023: Junior Handler Emily handled Björn in an Open Show - he was awarded BIG under judge Ms Courtney Foster (WA).
May 2023: Carey was very happy to meet Annika's sister Saga - Barecho Beyond Compare - and her owner Laila at an ESS Speciality in Horsens, Denmark.
May 2023: Carey and Debbie went to the European Dog Show 2023 with two ESS of Debbie's. Carey was very happy to be asked to run a junior for the Barecho team in the dog challenge!!
May 2023: Beatris is awarded the final points she needed to gain her Champion Title! She did it in style - also awarded BOB - beautifully handled by Junior Handler Jayde - they make a great partnership.
April 2023: Carey, David, Annika and Björn head to Sydney for four shows - Annika placed 2nd in the National Winner of Winners Invitational put on for the 100th year Anniversary of ESSA of NSW; she was also placed 3rd in the bitch open class in one of the other shows.
April 2023: Wytcher B Starbright 'Bella', owned by Wendy and Robert Stobbie, awarded the final CC points to gain her Champion title!
